The name of the new song is Safe Connection - the same as the project run by Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation devoted to the theme of HIV/AIDS and safe sex, supported by The Coca-Cola Foundation.

Just like the songs from the Soulmate Sublime album released in 2011, Safe Connection was written by Eugene Filatov in collaboration with German producer and songwriter Charley Stadler: Eugene wrote the music, and Charlie - the text. The filmmakers of the video will be Denis Zakharov and Igor Tarnopolsky (producer of The Maneken and Jamala).

Filming will take place on February 21 in the capital film studio at 39-G Olena Teliga street. And it will be aired on all Ukrainian music video channels in early March.

Eugene Filatov, The Maneken frontman, musician: «The AIDS rate of spread in our country is truly appalling. It concerns all of us, no one can remain indifferent and must do something to improve the situation. The idea to write a song about it and make our own contribution to solving this problem was born a long time ago, but it gained its concrete shape in the process of communication with Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. And so the Safe Connection song was born».

Olga Rudneva, Executive Director, Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation: «In order to achieve results in the fight against AIDS, it is necessary to find new ways of communication and attract new assistants every day. This is a process with no time for weekends and no one should be indifferent. Today, thanks to the The Maneken band, we've got not only new faces for our online campaign, but the opportunity to reach hundreds of thousands of young people whose lives in some way depend on us».

Safe Connection is a unique source of information about HIV/AIDS and safe sex, created in social networks by Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation with support from The Coca-Cola Foundation. This online source is designed to ensure that socially and sexually active young people could find interesting materials that deal with HIV/AIDS and safe sex issues at one place and in a convenient and understandable form, to discuss the most successful social media campaigns, to offer creative ideas, to find new friends, like-minded people and interesting opponents to openly talk about the exciting challenges. Safe Connection gives the opportunity to radically change one's attitude to the world in which the HIV/AIDS epidemic exists, or simply make their own contribution to the fight against AIDS by protecting themselves and their loved ones.

The Maneken is a band that works in one of the most trendy music styles - electronic rock. By using music styles as «the clothes» for the design of their musical ideas, Eugene Filatov, ideologist of the band anv The Maneken frontman has created some unique «collections» that found its admirers not only in the CIS, but in Europe and the USA as well. When The Maneken appeared in 2008 on the local scene, DJs on the radio called the band «the Ukrainian Jamiroquai». Today, his songs are a combination of dance music and the best elements of pop-rock culture of the last decade.

For two years now The Maneken have travelled half of the globe - the touring geography extends from the Russian Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Washington and Puerto Rico. Since its inception, The Maneken cooperates with foreign record companies and publishes their music abroad. First Look (2009), their debut album, was released by the French label Somekind Records and with help of Virgin Megastore distribution was selling in major European countries and Japan. During 2010, another French company, DJ Center released their EP, that was distributed at all major digital platforms, selling electronic music. The Maneken videos were rotating on music channels in Europe and the Middle East: Music Box Italy, MTV Baltia, MTV Arabia, Mad TV (Greece), Sola TV (Spain), QTOM (Germany) and got into the World Chart Express on MTV European three times.

An important step in The Maneken career was a meeting with the German filmmaker and songwriter Charley Stadler, known for his film «Dead Fish» with Gary Oldman. Getting turned into a long-term cooperation, in which Charlie wrote lyrics for the majority of songs for their second album The Maneken - Soulmate Sublime. Especially for live performance of a new material, The Maneken have gathered live musicians, turning from a solo artist to the electronic-rock band.

Soulmate Sublime album release was held on April 20, 2011. In addition to selling on CD, the album was available on the official artist website as a free download. In addition to Kiev and Moscow, in May, The Maneken presented the album in Los Angeles, at a concert at MUSEXPO-2011 - the main forum of the world music industry. On his return from the USA The Maneken played at the opening of «The Future Generation Art Prize @ Venice» exhibition at the 54th Venice Biennale, and on the June 14th the band performed at the Kiev Palace of Sports opening for Jamiroquai concert. In addition, The Maneken presented the Soulmate Sublime album on the live-stage TopDJ Terrace at GlobalGathering festival, at a solo concert at Arena Concert Plaza (Kiev) and on the stage of Faberge/Kazantip Z19 Live On Mars Project.
