The legendary Coca-Cola bottle helps to raise money for charity

The "Coca-Cola Ukraine" company announces graphic design art-contest dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the cult bottle of Coca-Cola. The task of the competition "Tell your #CokeBottleStory" – is to develop creative images (posters, T-shirts), which will be exhibited on the website www.fashion-aid.in.ua and raise money for charitable projects of the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. The winners will receive five desktop tablets Intuos Pen & touch small of the Wacom production with the ability to use a tablet pen and support of the multi-touch gestures.

Deadline: works for the contest will be accepted until March 27, 2015.

  • Pavel Klubnikin, founder and creative director of Banda Agency.
  • Nikolai Kovalenko, head of the design studio Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine.
  • Ganka Tretyak, filmmaker, founder of the gallery "Hudgraf" art curator of the «ARTISHOCK Koktebel Jazz" festival and creative director of Ganka Advertising.
  • Oleg Veklenko, graphic designer, professor of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.
  • A representative of The Coca-Cola Company.

We would appreciate if you spread this information among friends, colleagues, and anyone who might be interested in participating.

There is no restrictions for participants – neither age nor professional or geographical. It is open to both individual designers and creative teams (including design studios and creative agencies). The number of works from one participant is not limited.

 

Brief

TA: youth, which shares the core values of the Coca-Cola brand – modern, youth-friendly brand that brings joy and a sense of unity.

What do we want to achieve: to remind the core values of the brand and of the centenary of the bottle Coca-Cola.

What to do: to design images that will be applied on different media . The design should contain only graphics – without texts and slogans.

Media vehicles. T-shirts and posters, outdoor advertising, which are used to promote the brand Coca-Cola in the market of Ukraine.

Required elements of design: the circuit and/or elements of the contour bottle TM Coca-Cola.

Awards. The winners will receive five desktop tablets Intuos Pen & touch small of the Wacom production with the ability to use a tablet pen support of the multi-touch gestures. Winners have right to abandon their rewards and/or send these funds to charitable projects to help HIV-positive children.

The main criteria to determine the winner. 1) the conceptual – presence of a single, holistic concept, design, ideas. 2) Implementation – the level of artistic execution. 3) Compliance with the values of the Coca-Cola brand and the presence of obligatory elements.

Process of choosing and announcing winners. The winners are determined by the jury composed of: Alexey Zalevskiy, fashion-designer and film director, Pavel Klubnikin, founder and creative director of Banda Agency, Nikolai Kovalenko, head of the design studio Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine, Ganka Tretyak, filmmaker, founder of the gallery "Hudgraf" art curator of the «ARTISHOCK Koktebel Jazz" festival and creative director of Ganka Advertising, Oleg Veklenko, graphic designer, professor of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, representative of The Coca-Cola Company.

At the same time the contest organizers reserve the right to announce additional prizes for any number of submitted in frames of the contest works. Results will be announced on the website of the company "Coca-Cola Ukraine" not later than 17 April 2015.

The publication of works. All work, submitted to the contest, that meet the terms of the competition, and all the works of the winners will be published on the website of the company "Coca-Cola Ukraine". Works that contain obscenities and information prohibited by the legislation of Ukraine will not be published.

Works, which violate the author's rights of others (full or partial), as well as works in respect of which the decisions of appropriate authorized institutions will be rendered, will we deleted from the site.

Technical requirements. It is essential to upload your work to the website Cola-Cola Journey with the name of the project, the full name and contact details. Format of the downloading graphics on the web site: 1) File Format: .JPG, .JPEG. 2) Image Resolution: 200-300 dpi. 3) Image Size: 420 × 594 mm. 4) File size: no more than 10 MB.

Legal commentary on the contest. By submitting works to the contest by means of downloading works on the Cola-Cola Journey web site, the participants transmit exclusive property rights for these works without limitation of methods of the use of these works, time and areas of use to the Limited Liability Company "Coca-Cola Ukraine Limited".
