Our new partnership with the Women's Veterans Movement

The Olena Pinchuk Foundation has initiated a partnership with the Women's Veterans Movement, answering their call for sustained collaboration and support for women defenders on the front line. Among the military women, are artillerists, mechanics-drivers, snipers, assault pilots and medics. These brave women occupy a variety of combat and non-combat roles, with diverse ranks and experiences. They all, however, exemplify a level of professionalism that transcends gender.

With the mission to enhance comfort and improve the living conditions of these women soldiers on the front line, the Olena Pinchuk Foundation provided kits filled with essential medicines, individual household items, face care products and hygiene items in response to a request. Since October 2022, the Women's Veterans Movement has received a thousand such kits for women on the front line defending their country.

In May of this year, the Foundation also purchased and delivered 50 sets of summer uniforms and underwear for our female combatants through the Women's Veterans Movement. ArmWomenNow sewed the high-quality women's uniforms and tactical underwear under the “Donate for Military Uniforms at Cost” program.

« Our girls on the front are brave and unbreakable, defending our homeland on equal terms with their male counterparts. Their feat inspires the entire world.. Supporting women has always been a priority for the Foundation, which is why our partnership with the Women's Veterans Movement is so crucial to us. It allows us to directly assist the women on the front, » said Olena Pinchuk.

The Foundation directly receives requests from the military women via the Women's Veterans Movement, an organization dedicated to advocating for women’s rights during and after military service.

To strengthen the informational support for servicewomen, the Olena Pinchuk Foundation, in collaboration with the Women's Veterans Movement, is implementing the media project "Women at War" in the NV.ua publication.
