|  Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation announced the winners of the "Social Media and Mobile Phones for HIV Prevention" competition on 18 January 2012. The project entries by South African non-profit organization Cell-Life and by Chinese internet portal Danlan were declared winners. More than 50 teams from 19 countries took part in the competition.  | Elton John and Elena Pinchuk announced their second joint project in Ukraine |
|  On November 9, 2011 in Kiev the founders of the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) and the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation (EPAAF) presented to journalists their second joint charitable project. Its goal is to help girls and young women who are spend most of their lives on the street and so are highly vulnerable to HIV, to gain access to HIV testing and to receive vital social, medical and legal assistance. The project is implemented by the global health and human rights organization HealthRight International, with the generous financial support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which is supported by the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. Estimates place the number of children and young people living on the streets of Ukraine, mostly within big cities, at anywhere between 20,000-100,000. |

|  On March 21, 2011 a unique for Ukraine charitable on-line auction "Stars for sale" was presented at the Kiev Hyatt Regency Hotel. The famous Ukrainian sportsmen, musicians, designers and TV presenters put up for sale their time and talent to raise funds for new up-to-date equipment for donor blood purification. The charitable auction is organized by the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation in partnership with Korrespondent.net. The biddings are held at the platform of Aukro.ua internet-auction. The delivery of the brightest "purchases" will be shown in "Exclusive" TV program at Noviy Channel. The participants of the project shared the reasons of their participation and talked about blood safety and donor situation in Ukraine. In addition, right in front of TV cameras Yuriy Gorbunov, Dmitriy Kolyadenko and Gaitana picked three lots which they will put up for auction in the nearest time. Totally more than 100 lots will be auction till the end of the year. |

| The Ukrainians do not like to talk about sex. The Ukrainians do not buy sexual services in the Internet. In addition, politics is five times more attractive for the Ukrainian users of the Facebook than sex. These are the results of the study of Ukrainian Internet carried out by the Peppermint Digital Agency on the request of the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation in November 2010. The study was conducted to tailor new on-line project of the ANTIAIDS foundation. The aim was to analyze search results on the topics "HIV/AIDS", "sex", "drugs" in the Ukrainian Google and where interests of Ukrainian users of Facebook, LiveJournal and VKontakte lie. |

 | Victor and Elena Pinchuk Received the Elton John AIDS Foundation award |
|  On Monday, October 18, 2010, Victor and Elena Pinchuk were honored at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's (EJAF) 9th annual An Enduring Vision benefit at Cipriani Wall Street (New York). The Pinchuks received EJAF's prestigious Enduring Vision Award for their significant contributions to the fight against AIDS in the Ukraine and for their generous support of EJAF's grant-making initiatives. For the first time since the ceremony's inception, the award was presented to representatives from Eastern Europe. The honorees for the event also included Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, DreamWorks Studio producer and co-founder; and Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer of the Jimmy Choo brand. An Enduring Vision is an annual charitable event established by Sir Elton John and David Furnish in 2001 to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation and to recognize individuals who have been generous friends of EJAF and who have made outstanding contributions to the fight against AIDS. Previous recipients of the EJAF Enduring Vision Award include: 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton; actress Sharon Stone; rock-star Ozzy Osbourne; and Chopard Co-President Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, among others.  | 3 million dollars for the fight against AIDS is the result of the most successful charitable auction in the Ukraine! |
|  On October 3rd a charity dinner was held in honour of the 42nd President of the USA William Jefferson Clinton. The dinner was organized by Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation; special guest President Clinton was personally invited by Victor and Elena Pinchuk to the Ukraine to attend this event. As a result of the ANTIAIDS charity auction, 3 million dollars were raised - the largest amount ever raised for charity in the Ukraine. This was not the only record broken that evening, as the auction also saw the second most expensive lot sold in the Ukraine's auction history. The work ‘In Love' by exceptionally talented contemporary artist Damien Hirst, was sold for 2.4 million USD. There were also unexpected lots donated by Wladimir Klitschko as well as by the guest of honour himself, President Clinton. All proceeds of the auction will be donated to the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation for an extended collaborative project with the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI). |

 | Elena Franchuk entered UNAIDS High Level Commission on HIV Prevention |
| Elena Franchuk, Founder of the ANTIAIDS Foundation, entered UNAIDS High Level Commission on HIV Prevention that was created to make "preventive revolution" - the world-break in prevention of the new HIV cases. The announcement was made today in Vienna, where XVIII International AIDS Conference takes place. The United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS invited more than 15 world renowned leaders to join Commission - famous politicians, social activists, doctors, sportsmen, IT celebrities, well-known journalists and advertisers to use their unique authority and influence to lead a social and political action campaign over the coming year aimed at galvanizing support for effective HIV prevention programmes. |
